On we go in the WWE Universe, its next offering: Backlash.

The co-branded PPV event airs live Sunday, May 6 and features a card of bouts which could spawn some interesting feuds.

Samoa Joe has made Roman Reigns his No.1 target since his return to "RAW," and now that the Samoan Submission Machine is on "SmackDown," this match could be a one-off. Expect Reigns to get a victory, because he's Roman Reigns, and that's what he does (when he's not facing Brock Lesnar, that is).

MORE: Am I the only one? Running down the biggest questions in wrestling

Just over a month removed from WrestleMania, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura are set for the third match in their feud. The first saw Styles victorious at WrestleMania 34, while the second at WWE's Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27 resulted in a double count out. Can Nakamura upend Styles and get his first taste of WWE gold?

All those questions and more will be answered in just under a week at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
