That's probably the first reaction of many to the news that Jenna Elfman is joining the Walking Dead prequel for its upcoming fourth season as a main cast member (via ).

After all, Elfman is best known for her (extremely) broad comedy roles in the late-'90s sitcom Dharma & Greg, and films like Can't Hardly Wait, Dr. Dolittle and Friends with Benefits.
There will probably be fewer yucks when the actress turns up in the post-apocalyptic world of Fear the Walking Dead as a mysterious new character.
This latest major casting follows the news that former Deadwood and Justified star Garret Dillahunt would be next year as well.

Dillahunt is an avowed super-fan of the Walking Dead franchise, and even publicly campaigned to play Negan before Jeffrey Dean Morgan landed the role.
Fear the Walking Dead is in for a major shift under the creative reins of new showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian B. Goldberg, who'll be working closely with The Walking Dead's head writer Scott M. Gimple.
Part of their collaboration will include between the two series next year. Whether a certain red-headed ass-kicker will be involved is still up for debate.
The Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US and on FOX and in the UK, while Fear the Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US and BT TV in the UK.
